Villa Ke’ala deBali is located in keala de bali village, a small village in the mountains of Northwest Bali. Munduk was originally selected and settled by deposed kings, chosen for its’ temperate climate, pristine lakes, waterfalls, views and natural forests.
It is a short drive to the tourist destinations of Bedugul (Beratan) Lake/ Ulun Danu Temple and from Lovina, a small beach town tourist destination for dolphin watching, snorkeling and diving. Actually, it’s not much more than a two hour drive to anywhere in Bali.
The villa is surrounded by clove forests and farms. Munduk is the number one producer of clove, coffee and chocolate for Bali. With seven waterfalls, three sacred lakes, numerous temples and the Tamblingan forests nearby. Munduk is also known for its’ natural trekking paradise; it has a variety of trekking routes suited to every level , an easy one hour walk visiting waterfalls, to a six hour strenuous climb up Mount Lesung for a 360 degree view of all Bali.
